My 2019 New Year’s Resolutions

Make more time for creative exploration.

Over the past few years, I’ve gradually slowed in my creative pursuits. I’ve been taking fewer photos. I’ve been working too often. I don’t remember the last time I picked up a paintbrush or written something for pleasure. I believe creative exploration keeps the mind young and the heart happy. So I resolve to make dedicated time to explore my creativity. I’d like to write, draw, and use my camera more often.

Take better care of the mind and body.

I’m getting older with each passing day. My body is a temple… with overgrown weeds, chipped stone, and footprints all over it. I need to get back on my grizzy as a bonafide hustler. This means I need to stop eating junk, start exercising and start working harder to strengthen my body. Good physical health leads to good emotional and mental health. Stop making excuses. Just do it.

tl;dr

I believe that in order to maintain new year resolutions, they must be short, sweet, and not too specific. This year I've limited myself to a list of no more than 10. I hereby resolve to adhere to them all!
